Design & fit-out of a café inspired by classic French bistro interiors

The Brief

Create a café interior referencing traditional French bistro settings, incorporating a client-led palette of pink and red tones.
The space needed to balance strong visual identity with practical day-to-day operation.

Our Approach

The colour scheme was introduced in a controlled manner to ensure warmth and vibrancy without overwhelming the space. Dark wood bistro-style furniture was selected to anchor the palette and provide contrast.
Layout planning focused on balancing intimacy with circulation, creating comfortable seating arrangements while maintaining clear movement paths for staff and customers.
Material selections and detailing were guided by the intention to evoke a European café atmosphere within a contemporary context.

The Result

The completed interior combines expressive colour with traditional café references.
The pink and red palette establishes a distinctive identity, while the darker furniture provides visual stability and balance.

The space now supports efficient daily service while reflecting the client’s intended character and atmosphere.
