Design & fit-out of a rustic café interior with industrial detailing

The Brief

Create a café interior combining warmth and texture with subtle industrial influence.
The space needed to feel welcoming while supporting efficient daily service and food preparation.

Our Approach

Painted exposed brick introduced texture within a controlled grey palette, anchored by complementary flooring to maintain cohesion.
A timber feature wall incorporated concealed storage, with black metal detailing reinforcing the industrial accents. Scaffold board shelving with integrated lighting defined display and preparation zones, while the customer-facing counter was constructed in rustic timber to maintain material continuity.
Planting was introduced to soften the harder finishes and provide natural contrast without overwhelming the interior.

The Result

The completed café balances texture and structure within a clear operational layout.
Integrated storage, shelving and display areas support efficient daily service, while the material palette establishes a cohesive and recognisable identity.

The space now operates smoothly in daily use while presenting a consistent and well-considered brand environment.
