Design & fit-out of a contemporary salon anchored by reclaimed timber feature walls

The Brief

Create a salon interior with warmth and character while maintaining a clean and organised working environment.
The layout needed to support clear movement between reception, styling and washing areas.

Our Approach

Two reclaimed timber feature walls were introduced to anchor the space — one framing the backwash area and the other defining the reception zone.
The wider palette was kept restrained to allow the timber to remain the focal point without visual heaviness.
Circulation was structured to ensure smooth transition between reception, styling stations and washing areas, supporting both client comfort and staff workflow.

The Result

The completed salon combines material texture with a calm and controlled layout.
Feature walls define key zones within the space, while neutral finishes maintain overall clarity and cohesion.

The space now supports organised daily operation within a clearly defined and welcoming salon environment.
