Design & fit-out of a café blending rustic warmth with industrial detailing

The Brief

Create a café interior that combined rustic character with industrial elements, establishing a strong identity both internally and at street level.
The space needed to balance visual impact with practical daily operation.

Our Approach

A timber counter and display area formed the central feature, contrasted with industrial steel display units to create visual balance.
The rear wall was divided into exposed brick and tiled sections, forming a structured backdrop for chalkboard menus and reinforcing material contrast.
Industrial-style signage and layered branding elements were integrated internally and externally to strengthen visibility and maintain flexibility for daily messaging.

The Result

The completed café combines texture and structure within a clear operational layout.
Layered materials and signage create depth and recognisable character, while the service area remains organised and efficient.

The space now supports consistent daily operation while presenting a distinctive and well-defined street presence.
